The following issues were reported by state and local governments responsible for inspecting hotels and/or food service establishments. In some cases, there is an indication that the reported violation was corrected by the time of a follow-up inspection; in other cases, no information was available as to whether a follow-up inspection was conducted. Accordingly, this blog should be understood to describe circumstances that existed on the date of the referenced inspection only.   • During routine inspections at Carambolas Restaurant at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa between February 1st, 2019 and March 29th, 2016 inspectors found 7 different incidences of “Potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety)”  On some inspections multiple temperature violations were found. (2/1/2019, 9/6/2018, 4/25/2018 and 3/29/2016)
  • During routine inspections at Carambolas Restaurant at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa between February 1st, 2019 and April 25th, 2018 inspectors found on 2 occasions “Accumulation of black/green mold like substance inside ice bin.” (2/1/2019 and 4/25/2018)
  • During routine inspections at Carambolas Restaurant at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa between August 23rd, 2017 and March 29th, 2016 inspectors found “Raw animal food stored over ready to eat food” or “raw animal foods not properly separated from one another” (8/23/2017, 5/19/2017, 11//2016 and  3/29/2016)
  • During routine inspections at Sand Bar and Grill at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa between September 6th, 2018 and February 16th, 2018 inspectors found 2 incidents of “Raw animal food stored over cooked”or “ready to eat food.” (9/6/2018 and 2/16/2018)
  • During routine inspections at Sand Bar and Grill at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa between February 16th, 2018 and June 9th, 2017 inspectors found on 3 consecutive occasions “Hood filter missing from fire suppression/exhaust system.” (2/16/2018, 8/30/2017 and 6/9/2017)
