The following issues were reported by state and local governments responsible for inspecting hotels and/or food service establishments. In some cases, there is an indication that the reported violation was corrected by the time of a follow-up inspection; in other cases, no information was available as to whether a follow-up inspection was conducted. Accordingly, this blog should be understood to describe circumstances that existed on the date of the referenced inspection only. - During routine inspections of the Café at the Marriott Hilton Head Resort & Spa between October 3, 2016 and October 15, 2018, inspectors from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control observed temperature control violations on four separate occasions (15.2018, 10.3.2018, 9.20.2017 and 10.3.2016).
- During routine inspections of the Café at the Marriott Hilton Head Resort & Spa on September 20, 2017 and October 3, 2018, inspectors observed the Café using out of compliance thawing methods. (3.2018 and 9.20.2017).
- During routine inspections of Ocean Blue at the Marriott Hilton Head Resort & Spa between June 21, 2016 and July 2, 2018, inspectors observed temperature control violations on three separate occasions (7.2.2018, 7.6.2016 and 6.21.2016).
